I had heard rumors that Piaggio was supposedly going to be releasing a hybrid model or models in the near future, but had not seen any sort of confirmation that this was true. Well, it appears that both Piaggio and Vespa hybrids will be going into production in early 2008 (read: now).

With the new dampener in the front end, the scooter rides like butter now. Love it.
I decided to replace the front dampener on the bike because there was a significant amount of slop in the travel of the front end, at least in part caused by the obviously destroyed rubber bushing in the lower hoop of the shock.
